Modern Meets Rustic
I create modern simple designs that embrace the use of unique surface textures. Each piece is constructed by hand in my home studio. My main focus is creating detailed layers of textures that stem from my inherent desire to make something plain look interesting. Sometimes the texture is a simple hammered surface that causes the light to reflect off beautifully and other times is layered with multiple variations of hammering, rolling, heating, stamping, engraving and forging to create a surface that brings the viewer in deeper to discover all of the subtle layers. My work is represented at fine galleries and boutiques across the US and Canada.
